Kevin is Nelson-based but delivers Ride Forever training in the Marlborough region as well.
In addition to ACC Ride Forever courses, Kevin also runs motorcycle and scooter training courses tailored to your level of riding experience and individual needs. These are run in a paved off-road area and then on-road.
Testing and training can also be provided in relation to obtaining your motorbike licence:
Basic Handling Skills Test (BHST) for Learner Licence
Competency Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) for Restricted (6R) and Full (6F) Licences

Marlborough Motorcycle Riding School

MMRS are NZTA approved and certified and so are approved to train and test for ‘Basic Handling’ certificates for Learner licence and for CBTA - Restricted & Full licence in Marlborough.
MMRS covers all aspects of rider instruction including:
Basic motorcycle handling skills training and testing
CBTA 6R & 6F - training and assessments
Refresher rides (refresh your on-road skills)
Returning riders skills
Scooter riding lessons
Training is offered on public roads or in MMRS’ private training area.

First Responder Training

Nine Scott offers a 2.5-hour no-nonsense training about what to do if you are the first to come across a road incident. Based on many years of experience as a motorcyclist as well as an ambulance, fire emergency, and motorcycle events medic, Nine Scott has designed this hands-on training specifically for motorcycle riders in NZ.
