The See Me campaign encourages other drivers not only to look for motorcyclists and moped riders, but to actually see them on the road. The campaign uses local riders and reminds other drivers to "See Me".

In Tasman, Nelson & Marlborough between 2011 and 2016, there were 236 injury crashes involving a motorcylist or moped rider. Of these 13 involved a fatal injury & 83 involved a serious injury.

In Tasman and Marlborough 55% of the crashes involved multiple parties. In Nelson 68% of the crashes involved multiple parties. There was a range of crash causes, however a number involved the other driver not seeing the motorcyclist or moped rider.
