This full-day course is ideal for riders on a Learner licence or those on a Class 6 Restricted licence riding LAMS-approved machines. It directly assists you to get the skills and practice to confidently pass your Restricted Licence test ( CBTA).

What you’ll get out of it:
a sound understanding of road positioning: to better see and be seen, and its importance in cornering
improved skills in low-speed manoeuvring and braking
understanding the right speed and gear for any riding situation
On the day:
After a thorough briefing and safety check you'll head out onto a mix of urban and rural roads, including some higher speed sections. Practicing skills may take place off-highway with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break at a café.
What to bring:
Ensure you wear protective motorcycle clothing top to toe, and bring a pen, paper, and money to buy lunch.
Make sure your machine is warranted, registered, and roadworthy. Please arrive with a full tank.
