Ride Forever Courses are generally 8 hours long (although scooter/urban is 4 hours). We will subsidise Ride Forever Scooter, Bronze, Silver, and Gold training courses to make the training completely FREE to you.

Which course you attend depends on the licence you hold or the skills you already have. See full course details listed underneath the timetable shown below.

If you can’t find a course to suit you, contact your local trainer directly to find out about other courses they provide or a course tailored to your specific needs (Marlborough or Nelson/Tasman).

You must have a current licence and your motorcycle/scooter will need to have a current WOF and registration.

This full-day course is ideal for riders on a Learner licence or those on a Class 6 Restricted licence riding LAMS-approved machines.What you’ll get out of it:A sound understanding of road positioning: to better see and be seen, and its importance in cornering. Improved skills in low-speed manoeuvring and braking. Understanding the right speed and gear for any riding situation.On the day:After a thorough briefing and safety check you'll head out onto a mix of urban and rural roads, including some higher speed sections. Practicing skills may take place off-highway with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break at a café. Ensure you wear protective motorcycle clothing, top to toe, bring a pen and paper, and money to buy lunch. Make sure your machine is warranted, registered and roadworthy. Arrive with a full tank.

The day is made up of a series of modules with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break.Ensure you wear protective motorcycle clothing, top to toe, bring a pen and paper, and money to buy lunch.
